Matt & Gabe and the Firemen

Fire Engines are very interesting. They're big and red, they have flashing lights and loud sirens - and nice men who take pictures with you if you ask nicely. My mom always asks nicely. And then she gets this silly smile on her face...

We spotted this one after eating dinner with our friends Matt & Gabe. Matt used to work with my mom and dad when they first met, and now we're all friends!

They're going to get married this summer, and I get to go to their wedding. It'll be the first wedding I've ever been to - aside from my mom and dad's. And I was inside for that one, so it doesn't really count.
